Love Lust & Lucky Escapes, Preston Village Hall, Saturday 23 July 7pm
I’m very excited and happy to be performing an ‘art talk with a twist’, Love, Lust and Lucky Escapes in Preston Village Hall.
Join me to celebrate one of the oldest love stories of all time, that of the Greek god Eros (Cupid to the Romans) and Psyche as immortalised in art. Expect drama, deception and just a little decadence. Throw in a bit of quirky Dutch art, a fling with Picasso, a bit of genteel audience interaction (bring your smart phone) and some nibbles for a light-hearted evening of, well, love, lust and lucky escapes.
All this on the stage where I learnt everything you need to know about performing! At least that’s what my mum says… Mum also says please can you bring your own drinks as there isn’t a bar and that you’ll be seated around tables as that creates a fun atmosphere 😉

Here we are in all our glory, on stage in the annual pantomime, back in the 1980’s. Kate and I are rocking some pretty fabulous perms and, yes, mum does have excellent legs, as does Jackie!
